We are providing our patients with more convenience with remote monitoring by using DentalMonitoring. This allows us to check remotely the progress of the orthodontic treatment on a weekly basis. This means less visits to the practice for the patients and potential problems can be identified quickly.
What is Dental Monitoring?
Dental Monitoring is a program that enables your orthodontist to review over 130 aspects of your dental health, including oral hygiene and tooth movement, using simple photos taken with your smartphone!
How does it work?
- During the treatment plan discussion, you will receive all the information about dental monitoring and at the end of the link to download and activate the application.
- At your placement appointment, you will receive your Scan Box, and our assistant will guide you through your first scan.
- You’ll take photos of your teeth using the Scan Box and send them to your clinician via the app, typically every week.
