Hello, world! I am Beatriz Betti, though many know me as Bia or Bea. As a proud native of São Paulo, Brazil, I entered this world under the balanced solar sign of Libra. Like any true Libra, I’m drawn to beauty, symmetry, and harmony, which has greatly influenced my journey in the field of dentistry. But beyond simply crafting beautiful smiles, I aspire to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those around me, approaching dentistry not just as a science but as an art form—a philosophy I’ve woven into the concept of Betti Ortho Clinic.
From a young age, I harboured a passion for architecture and design, viewing the world through a lens that appreciates both form and function. It was this perspective that led me to dentistry, where I realised that we, too, are architects—not of buildings, but of smiles. In my practice, the focus extends far beyond mere dental alignment; it encompasses the entirety of the individual, from their teeth to their overall facial aesthetics, and even their quality of life.
I firmly believe that dentistry is not a one-size-fits-all endeavour. Each patient brings a unique set of desires and concerns, and it’s our duty as practitioners to address them comprehensively. This holistic approach guides every aspect of my work, driving me to pursue specialised training and research to better serve my patients.
My educational journey began at Paulista University (UNIP) in São Paulo, where I earned my degree in dentistry in 2000. But my thirst for knowledge didn’t end there. Over the years, I embarked on a series of specialised studies to deepen my understanding of orthodontics, restorative dentistry, and oral kinesiology—a testament to my belief that excellence in dentistry demands lifelong learning.
Between 2006 and 2009, I pursued my specialisation in orthodontics at Paulista University, honing my skills in this vital branch of dentistry. In 2009 I became an Invisalign Doctor provider. Later, from 2012 to 2014, I delved into the interdisciplinary realm of restorative dentistry at SENAC-São Paulo, further expanding my toolkit for comprehensive patient care.
